Really well located close to the train station, so great for getting places. Also, the hotel provided a link to a free Geneva travel card, which meant that we could travel on the tram free while we were there which was great.

I had a wonderful stay at ibis Genève Gare! The location is excellent—just a short walk from the main train station, making it super convenient for travelers. It’s also close to public transport, restaurants, and key attractions in Geneva. The breakfast was good. I especially appreciated the quick and hassle-free checkout process, which saved time and made my departure smooth. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the room size was ok. Overall, a great value stay in the heart of Geneva. Highly recommended for both short and long stays!

My wife and I flew into Geneva, and used the frequent train service from the airport to the central train station. The Ibis was an easy walk from the station, and was near to places we had planned to visit in Geneva. We had planned to leave our luggage with the front desk staff, but were instead allowed to check into a room early {before noon}. This was exceptionally nice for us after a transatlantic flight and changeover at the loathsome CDG airport. Our room was small, but freshly renovated in modern style that is characteristic of other Ibis hotels we have stayed in. The hotel had a small but nice common area, and the provided buffet breakfast following our night of rest was quite good. Colds drinks, including beer, were available from a refrigerator in the lobby, and coffee was available for the taking. Geneva has a walkable central area that has an upscale feel about it. The bath, with a shower, was small but nice. Our room was next to the elevator, but we did not notice noise from its operation or from outside. As indicated, the desk staff were very nice and helpful.

The design of the room is very well done. My room was located at the fifth floor what I liked very much. Overall it is rather quiet in the hotel. The hotel is very well situated, very close to the railway station as the name of the hotel already anticipates.

It offered a room for 3 adults, which was what we needed. Most other properties only allowed 2 persons so we would have had to get 2 rooms. We also liked the proximity to the Central train station since we were catching an early train the following morning. The room was spacious enough for the 3 of us.

The staff at the reception were so warm and welcoming and happy to help you with all your requests. Exceptional service. The location was a few minutes' walk from the main railway station in Geneva and also accessible through Bus or Tram in a few minutes' walk. Breakfast they served was also fresh and good and overall a good value for money.
